It speaks like an instrument

Every step lands in a protocol you can read back. When the engine refuses, it names the reason and the exact door that fixes it — never a silent failure, never a guess dressed as an answer.

One live model holds the whole facade, so the drawing, the schedule and the report can never disagree with each other.

Buildings, in human words.

The idea

Facade engineering hides behind vocabulary. Between the person who wants a building and the model that describes it stands a wall of CAD terms, layers and file formats — so every change travels through specialists, and every misunderstanding travels to the factory.

GFP turns that around. You speak the way people speak about buildings — floors, groups of floors, this one stands back, make the rhythm looser — and the engine owns the geometry: grids, mullions, sheets, trays. The words stay human; the millimetres stay exact.

What stands today

A working engine, in daily use: conversational building from a plain brief; live elevations, plans, sections and a street view; engineering truth — glass sheets within fabrication limits, unified stacks, drainage trays at every broken junction, wind pressure to SI 414; DWG and JSON exports; and a signed-in workshop reachable over the internet. It is operated today by its author — the multi-user cloud workshop is the road ahead, and this site is its front door.

Three principles

Nothing without your yes. Every change is asked as a plain question before it is applied, and one undo always stands ready.

Every step on the record. The engine writes a protocol as it works — what was ordered, what was built, what was refused — so a disagreement is settled by reading, not by arguing.

Refusals speak. When something cannot be done, the engine names the reason and the exact door that fixes it. A silent failure is treated as a bug of the highest order.

The facade line, rebuilt.

The problem

Custom curtain walls are still engineered largely by hand: weeks of drawings for every option, knowledge locked in a few specialists, and errors that surface at the factory or on the crane — the most expensive places to find them. The result is a market where exploring a better facade costs so much that most buildings never try.

The approach

GFP holds the entire facade as one live model and puts a conversation in front of it. An owner or architect speaks in floors and groups; an AI operator works the engine; the engine computes deterministic geometry and refuses honestly what cannot be built. Drawings, schedules and exports fall out of the same model, so they cannot disagree — and an option that used to cost a week costs a sentence.

What exists today

A working prototype in daily use by its author: conversational building from a plain brief, live drawings, fabrication-aware glass schedules, wind checks to SI 414, drainage resolution at broken junctions, DWG and JSON exports, an approval-gated write path with a full protocol, and a password-protected workshop reachable over the internet. A live demonstration is available on request.

Where it goes

From one machine to a cloud engine; from one author to seats for architects, facade contractors and owners; from a single building to a library of engineered systems. The near-term road is unglamorous and concrete: hosted engines, accounts, and the first outside users working real projects.
